Singen ist gut für die Gesundheit, weil es Stress abbaut, das Immunsystem stärkt, die Atmung verbessert und Glückshormone freisetzt, wobei der soziale Aspekt beim gemeinsamen Singen (z.B. im Chor) besonders positive Effekte hat und die emotionale Gesundheit fördert. Auch wenn es keine Wunderheilung ist, ist es eine effektive Ergänzung für einen gesunden Lebensstil, die das Herz-Kreislauf-System sowie die Stimmung positiv beeinflusst, wie Studien zeigen.
